I gotta say that it was a very overwhelming experience, but only after a few minutes it feels like you have seen it all and the price point starts feeling a bit high for the amount of content. It states that this is like an "early access" product and that future updates will be free for this model, hopefully this will make the price point feel more satisfactory.
You guys need to advertise the jiggle feature a little more.
I know that this will probably be fixed in a later version but wanted to point out that moving my head while jiggling moves the models which shouldn't happen.
The AVR products really take it up a notch. Even though there are fewer scans than the BVR products, Kayla feels so much more real in this release than in BVR, and that is why we are here, right!?
I only wish that the "wetness" application would have mouse or keyboard controls because I don't have a gamepad... :-(
(You can switch between wet and non-wet for her whole body with keyboard, but no squirting her with oil without gamepad.)
**EDIT from VRGIRLZ until we get Reply function. YES YOU CAN :) You can use the mouse.**
Each new step, i'm amazed by the improvements made and how exciting it is.
I was stunned by Lucid Dream and found the first BVR impressive.. well AVR is really a big improvement even noticeable with the limited resolution of DK2 (but easier to see on screen)... I only can immagine how cool it would be with a more recent HMD.
I can't wait to see what's next, i've read some things about leap motion and maybe later animations, that would be magic !
Continue the great work, and be sure we'll continue to support you in return ! :)
I love it!
Kayla is not my favourite model, but in AVR she is a real treat. At first i was a little disapointed you'd get 5 poses in stead of the 10 in BVR but the qualtiy made me forget all this.
I espacialy like the quality of the shadows. And sitting on the beach spraying her wet, what made me busy with her from closeby i was blown away when i sudenly noticed the shadow of my own body leaning over her!
I really like the wettness and the way to apply, maybe i would like to also be able to dry it off slowly instead of erasing the whole wettness at once but very cool anyway.
Can't wait for the next girl :)
*I've only experienced this on a monitor, no hmd*
The scans look great. I'm really glad they debuted with Kayla, she is my favorite by far.
The new shaders look awesome. The different skies are actually quite interesting, unlike in the BVR's where they rarely match the scans. Kayla looks great in most of the skies included here.
The wetness application was honestly a lot of fun to mess around with and looks very realistic. It makes me wonder what "other" kind of substance applicators may be in the future ;)
The beach scene was quite a surprise. I lol'd when i flipped to it at first, but it actually can add a lot to a setups atmosphere, and Kayla's skin looks great there. When they implement actual scenes and locations or whatever it will be amazing.
As for the negatives~
I crashed a few times. It always happened after I opened and exited the F1 menu. It would just hang on a blackish screen until I killed the process.
Wetness brush sizes are probably a must. The current one works well for a personal, custom touch, but a bigger brush for doing the whole body would be great. Or just a button that switched a focused model to wet mode.
When you collide multiple models together the scene can get really laggy while moving them. I imagine this would be bad news for oculus owners, but I'm just on a monitor :)
First of all, this is great. Kayla is my favorite model by far from the selection so I'm glad you choose her first for AVR.
But it needs more updates, like the control page (F1) needs to reflect the changes. Only by luck did I discover that left mouse click makes the skin wet (and right mouse click removes it). It's slow to do the whole skin though, would be nice to have a button that instantly makes the whole body wet.
The price might also be a bit steep considering there are only minor improvements over the BVR versions (currently at least). And I would've expected a higher resolution for the skin, sadly it seems on par with BVR (there is a new feature that adds a graphical skin effect, while it looks great for the most part, it also adds it to the hair.. which looks less good).
I also discovered minor bugs, like the program instantly crashing if I tried to skip the intro scenes. Or her right ear glowing slightly red.
